The
Very Best Start You Can Offer Your Horse!
This unique venue is being offered for the
first time by popular request. Each year the Charles Wilhelm
Training Center receives literally hundreds of inquiries from people
all over the country asking how they should start their horse the
right way. These are horse owners that really want to do it
themselves, or at least be highly involved in the process, but
simply do not have the education and background to feel comfortable
and safe doing the training work on their own.
This exciting clinic is designed specifically for those people who
want to fully immerse themselves in a highly intensive workshop
targeted strictly for starting a horse under saddle.
Workshop Schedule
Monday through Friday 9 AM - 5 PM
Over the course of the five days, Charles will work with the
participants and their horses to cover all the following topics and
exercises in great depth....
-
Safety for both horse and owner
-
How to make any horse a calm, relaxed and
willing student
-
Round pen reasoning: teaching respect and
directional control through inside and outside turns
-
The
go-forward cue
-
Ground manners: lunging, line work, leading and
tying
-

your horse

be additional CW Training staff available to ensure you get help
quickly if needed. This clinic will fill and we suggest those
interested reserve a spot promptly. Please review our
